This Entrepreneurship Funding Program was previously taught as a credit-earning class at a Junior College and now is available 100% on-line at no cost. You'll have access to a current or former Business College Professor to help you successfully build a fundable business.
Your business plan is the foundation of your business. It’s a roadmap for how to structure, run, and grow your new business. Learn about key elements of an effective plan including your Use of Funds, Financial Projections, etc. to increase your ability to raise capital.
Now that we have your business plan created, it is time to create your business entity. Learn about the key steps including having a unique business address, filing with the Secretary of State, obtaining your EIN, and opening your business bank account.
Learn what banks and lenders look for and understand different types of funding available to start or grow a business. We'll discuss the Three C's (credit, collateral, and capacity) and explore creative ways to legally position your business to be fundable quickly.
Most businesses will need an injection of capital to start, grow, and reach its potential. We'll learn about the three different sources of funding (debt, equity, and earned income) and understand how start-ups can access funding.
